Ukrainian fashion is having a moment that has been a decade in the making. Its designers have shown at New York, Paris and London Fashion Weeks, dressed Kendall Jenner and Lily Collins, and built a reputation for something increasingly rare in contemporary fashion: garments made in small quantities, often to order, by the people who designed them.
What has lagged behind is access. Most of these labels sell primarily through Instagram or their own Ukrainian-language sites, with shipping and sizing that can be difficult to navigate from London. That gap is precisely why we built MIXMVSE — to bring a curated edit of Eastern European independent design to a Western audience, with UK stock, familiar sizing and delivery that works.
Here are six Ukrainian designers worth knowing in 2026, and what to buy from each.
1. CULTNAKED — Lviv
Founded in Lviv in 2018 by Mary Furtas, formerly a fashion photographer for Vogue and Harper's Bazaar, CULTNAKED is built around a specific idea: going-out clothes that are actually comfortable. Body-conscious silhouettes designed to be worn well beyond the club, made in-house in Lviv on a made-to-order basis.
The photographer's eye shows. These are pieces built to be seen — python-embossed vegan leather, mesh corsetry, cut-out tailoring — but the construction is quietly serious, with a quality-over-quantity philosophy that runs against most party-wear.
The brand has been worn by Kendall Jenner, Kylie Jenner, Megan Fox, Ariana Grande, Dove Cameron and Hilary Duff.
What to buy: The Bean Top in python-embossed vegan leather, or the Killa bandeau corset. Both work as hard with tailored trousers as they do on a night out.
2. J'amemme — Kyiv
If one Ukrainian label has crossed fully into international editorial consciousness, it is J'amemme. Founded in Kyiv in 2018 by Julie Yarmoliuk, the brand describes itself as wearable couture, and the description is earned: every piece is hand-crafted in the brand's Kyiv atelier, built around hand-pleated textures and sculptural, architectural silhouettes.
J'amemme has shown at New York and Paris Fashion Weeks and appeared in over 200 editorials, including Vogue Philippines, Vogue Portugal, Harper's Bazaar, Elle and L'Officiel. Maye Musk, Olivia Culpo, Coco Rocha, Sara Sampaio, Lily Collins and Leonie Hanne have all worn the label.
This is the designer to know if you want a piece that reads as couture but functions as a dress you will actually wear to a wedding.
What to buy: The Bella dress, or a two-piece pleated set — the pleating photographs extraordinarily well and moves better than anything machine-finished.
3. KARPOVA — Kyiv
Founded in 2020 by Iryna Karpova, originally in Kamianets-Podilskyi and now based in Kyiv, KARPOVA occupies a distinctive space: what the label calls aggressive grunge classic. Structured shapes, 3D appliqués and intricate tailoring, executed with natural and vintage fabrics on a made-to-measure model designed to minimise waste.
KARPOVA opened the Oxford Fashion Studio runway during London Fashion Week SS26 in September 2025 — a signal of where the brand is heading.
What to buy: The merino wool clutches are the signature and a genuine conversation piece. The structured knitwear and turtlenecks are the quiet, everyday entry point.
4. L'eskizzo — Kyiv
Founded in Kyiv by designer Svitlana Filyuk, L'eskizzo describes its approach as tender tailoring — a phrase that captures it well. This is structured clothing built on precise construction and considered proportion, aimed at the space between daywear and eveningwear that most brands handle badly.
Pieces are held in limited quantity and are not restocked once sold, which makes the label closer to a small atelier than a conventional ready-to-wear brand.
What to buy: A tailored blazer or a sculptural corset. The palazzo trousers are the most versatile thing in the collection.
5. Ambitna — Kyiv
The newest label here, founded in 2022 by Svitlana Puhach, and arguably the most commercially confident. Ambitna combines classical tailoring with bold contemporary elements — animal prints, unconventional cuts, refined detailing — into what the brand calls business luxury. Materials are sourced from Italy and Ukraine.
Ambitna made its American debut at New York Fashion Week in February 2026 with its Fall/Winter 2026 collection, Guided Instinct.
What to buy: The low-waist trench is the standout piece. The zebra-print silk blouses are the ones people ask about.
6. TO BE Accessories — Kyiv
Not a clothing label, but the accessories brand that ties the rest together. TO BE Accessories was founded by a stylist who began making gloves to add accents to her own styling work, and built the project around a fully customisable, made-to-order model: leather colour, lining (cashmere or natural silk), cuff length and personalisation are all specified per order.
The brand operates without seasonal sales. Pricing is final and consistent year-round — an unusual and rather principled position in accessories.
What to buy: Leather gloves, specified to your own combination. The mesh and hosiery pieces are the easiest way into the brand.

Where to buy Ukrainian designers in the UK
The practical difficulty with most of these labels is access: they are small, they produce in limited quantity, and buying direct from Ukraine can mean long lead times, unfamiliar sizing and unpredictable customs charges.
MIXMVSE London carries a curated edit of all six, with UK stock, size guidance for each brand, and delivery worldwide. Orders to the United States include all import duties calculated at checkout, so there is nothing further to pay on delivery.
